Introduction
China石化集团重庆川维化工有限公司 (hereinafter referred to as 川维化工公司), located in Changshou District, Chongqing, was formerly known as Sichuan Vinylon Plant. It was one of China's four major chemical fiber bases established during the 1970s and became part of China石化集团 in 1983. It is currently the largest natural gas chemical enterprise in China. The company's main products include methanol, vinyl acetate (VAc), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion (VAE), methyl acetate, liquid ammonia, vinylon fiber, EVOH, and other basic and fine chemical products. It has obtained ISO9001-2015, ISO45001-2018, and ISO14001-2015 certifications for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety management systems. It has also passed the Tfs (Together for Sustainability) assessment and review. Its products are exported to more than 60 countries and regions, including the United States, the European Union, and Southeast Asia.
